Notes:

  • The CHM format has ToC, index, and full-text-search. I modified the CSS to use black over white color (the new help style has white over black colorsheme). The modified css file can be retrieved from the CHM itself. Also docbook xsl seemed to be producing invalid index so the resulting index is not grouped by its primary term. Fixed.
  • The PDF format has ToC and searchable text.
  • The DjVu format has ToC and searchable text (created from the PDF format using DjVuLibre)
  • I have not tested if the devhelp format works ;) . It's created from the CHM format using hhconvert (http://htmlhelp.berlios.de).

تصمیم گرفتم که برانامه نویسی برای گنوم رو شروع کنم. از وقتی که این تصمیم رو گرفتم با برنامه های جالبی آشنا شدم. Devhelp یکی از این برنامه هاست که در این مدت یک دوست و راهنمای کامل برای من بوده.

Devhelp چیست؟
این برنامه یک مرورگر مستندات برای Gnome 2 است. Devhelp از به طور ساده با gtk-doc کار می کند. اگر شما از gtk-doc به همراه پروژه تان کار می کنید، می توایند جهت مرورمستندات از این نرم افزار استفاده کنید.

ویژگی های Devhelp

  • فهرست گذاری (indexing) کامل کتاب ها و راهنما ها به صورت XML.
  • ناظر اچ تی ام ال (GtkHTML).
  • جستجو بر اساس تابع، ساختار (struct)، ماکرو و ... .
  • کامل کردن اتوماتیک (Auto completion)
  • پشتیبانی از HTTP به همراه GnomeVFS.
  • نصاب (installer) ساده برای کتاب ها
  • پشتیبانی از چاپ (Print)
  • 5 سطح زوم
  • پشتیبانی از Vi
  • پشنیبانی از تب (Tab)


نصب
• روش اول: نصب از ترمینال
در ترمینال دستور زیر را اجرا کنید:

sudo aptitude install devhelp

• روش دوم استفاده از سیناپتیک (Synaptic)
بسته نمر افزاری devhelp را از لیست انتخاب کرده گزینه Mark as installation را برگزینید. سپس بر روی Apply کلیک کنید.

manuals. It also provides Bonobo functionality, which is used to
allow command-line searches, emacs integration and embedding in
applications like the Anjuta IDE.
