I have found a really good Firefox extension. It is called Fire.fm. It is a toolbar that inccorportates with Last.fm.
The toolbar pretty much allows you to change the artist/genre/song from
within the toolbar and without having to go to their website. The
toolbar also scrobbles all of your songs. If you want to see it, check
it out here.

Today is once again a big day for 36-image converter. Today we have released 36-image converter 4.4.

Today is once again a big day for 36-image converter. Today we have released 36-image converter 4.4.4 which contains the second step towards our final goal (the first step was adding new frames and effects). We proudly announce IntelliBrush! IntelliBrush is a function which replaces the 36IC 4.4.3's Pencil tool. By selecting a brush from the "Brush Gallery" you can draw on any image with multiple colors in one brush. These colors can even be sequential, this means that one second the primary color is used and the other second the secondary color, repeating this each second creating beautiful drawings.

36-image converter 4.4.4.23 contains 10 default brushes to test the function, as it is still in BETA. It is still in BETA because the "Brush Gallery" is quite messy and will be replaced by a separate application which will also enable you to create your own smart brushes.

36IC 4.4.4 does not only contain a new Brush tool, the Text tool is also updated and is finally out of its BETA-phase it has been simplified by enabling the user to move the text after insertion.

Other changes also include a separate tool to select colors from the image, an architectural update that enables us to quickly import new functions without having to mess with the interface, a new DashBoard and an updated help- and ReadMe file.

36-image converter 4.4.4.23 will be available for download tomorrow on Download.com and will then also be available in the update channel for 36IC 4.4.3 users. It is already online so it is released, but our servers cannot handle the massive amount of downloads so we have to wait until it is uploaded on Download.com.

Sean Deveny has an interesting piece over at The Sporting News regarding the lack of extensions off

Sean Deveny has an interesting piece over at The Sporting News regarding the lack of extensions offered to members of the 05 draft class. Only four first round picks from 2005 (Andrew Bogut, Deron Williams, Chris Paul and Francisco Garcia) have signed extensions, and with the deadline 24 days away, they could be the only ones. Marvin Williams, Ray Felton and Charlie Villanueva have apparently been told by their respective teams that an extension before the season is not happening.

The Blazers, who have three top 10 picks from 05 on their roster (Martell Webster, Channing Frye and Ike Diogu) are waiting to see if their young team meshes before making any commitments, the Knicks are concerned about cap space for 2010 and are hesitant to offer Nate Robinson or David Lee anything unless they can clear some cap space, and players like Hakim Warrick, Jarrett Jack and Sean May are also stuck in wait-and-see land. According to Deveny, a few players in good situations (Jason Maxiell, Andrew Bynum, Danny Granger and Linas Kleiza) could wind up getting extensions before the season starts.

You may remember last season, when there was a similarly high number of first round picks from 2004 draft who hadn't yet been extended. Only then it was because guys like Emeka Okafor, Josh Smith, Luol Deng, Andre Igoudala and Ben Gordon rejected the initial offers they got in the hopes of striking it big the next offseason. It kind of worked out for all of them except Gordon, who absolutely screwed himself unless he can have a miracle year this season. But what's happening now is the complete opposite. Now the teams are the ones who want to hold off on a long-term commitment.

Some of these are players who need to prove themselves on new teams (Jack, Diogu,) in front of new coaches (Felton, Villain,) and some are just inconsistent or injury-plagued (May, Webster, Rashad McCants.) But the second straight October with few extensions has to be seen as troublesome for members of the 06 and 07 classes. Outside of the no brainers like Brandon Roy and Kevin Durant, we probably won't see a lot of guys signed to extensions off their rookie deals. The Anticipation of 2010 is going to be a very real factor in any personell moves from now until that summer, and teams might be realizing that not getting their key draft pick of a few years ago signed right away isn't always a bad thing, as it leaves them more flexible with trade and free agent options.

Either way, offseasons are going to be a bit more stressful for agents from here on out.

Dies findet man heraus:

*suck* Mår fortfarande illa i vågor. Limmade i mina extensions.

Faan ta mig just nu. Faaan ta mig.

Balmain Hair extensions offer such beautiful results. Balmain Hair extensions can provide immediat

Balmain Hair extensions offer such beautiful results. Balmain Hair extensions can provide immediate length of hair and great haircolor results.

Balmain Hair Extensions are applied to such a small section of your own hair, that the end result is so real looking that.......seeing is believing.

Balmain Hair Extension hair is 100% real. Balmain Hair Extensions come in a variety of lengths, color, textures and accessories.

The blend of colors and the Balmain Hair Extensions "seamlessly" blend into your own hair. The Balmain Hair extensions will be undetectable.

The quality of Balmain Hair Extensions hair and the selection of colors just give way to endless creative options.

There are extremely practical uses for Balmain Hair Extensions, too. Balmain Hair Extensions can be added for some volume and for added thickness without extending your length.

Creative highlights and deeper colors can be added or alternated. In the above photo, you can see what is called a "continuous" row of Balmain Hair Extensions. This type of row will add thickness and bulk. With the sections being very small, the extensions will behave like your own hair.

The Balmain Hair Extensions are gently attached to your own natural hair. As your hair grows, the Balmain Hair Extensions will grow out with your own natural hair. Balmain Hair Extensions can last up to 3 to 4 months depending on home maintenance and lifestyle.

The benefit to opting for Balmain Hair Extensions is that the hair is reusable. What this means is that when the extensions have "grown out" and it is time for them to be removed...........you don't have to buy new hair. The Balmain Hair Extensions Artist will be able to remove your extensions, section by section and then reapply.

It takes approximately 3-4.5 hours to have a full set of Balmain Extensions applied. That is a short amount of time to achieve the results that you may want NOW!

One of my favourite little extensions is McAfee SiteAdvisor. It sits in the bottom right hand corner of Firefox and changes colour if the site your using is recognised and safe or hasn't been checked. It's handy that at a glance you can see it the site you're on is generally safe.

Another thing I like about it is how it analyzes search results in Google. It will add a little icon to the end of the link in each good result also telling you how they've rated the site, pretty much like traffic lights. A mouse over will give you a brief synopsis and you can choose to go and read user reviews and the owners comments etc. I usually have access to a decent speed network connection and have never found it slows anything down.

Of course, it doesn't replace your using common sense when browsing and doing your best to stay safe, but it does help steer you away from some of the very bad ones.

I recently found this cool extension for Firefox. It's called WiseStamp. What's good about it is that you can add a signature with your email that has links to the different social Web 2.0 services and IM clients you use. It links to your profile on LinkedIn, MySpace, Facebook, FriendFeed, AOL IM, MSM Messenger, ICQ, Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk, and more! It's a nice way to advertise yourself at the end of an email. You have the choice of setting up a personal signature or a business signature.

The catch: it does not work in an email client like Thunderbird. It only works in web-based email. The ones that are supported are Gamil, AOL, Yahoo!, and Hotmail. It's pretty easy to use and install. Once installed, you can go to Tools and click on WiseStamp. Edit your signature in either the visual editor or the HTML editor. Then, log into one of the email services and compose a new message. It was automatically inserted into my email message for Gmail. You can also right click to access you signature and insert or edit it. This would be a great addition to a forum post. I was also able to insert my WiseStamp signature here (because it's HTML based, but I wasn't able to add it into a Blackboard forum):

Now you can access booksummit from your iPhone at www.booksummit.com/m/. This is really cool - we added book reviews approximately 2 weeks ago, and now we have iPhone support. I'm adding a few screenshots (albeit taken from within a browser and not an iPhone) so you can see that it's pretty functional.

Quick Update: BTW, i actually prefer the 'only 1 thing at a time' interface the mobile version has. I need to rethink the main page of the web version of booksummit, and the plethora of options (which i suspect are a bit confusing).

First is the default view you get at booksummit.com/m/ -

[caption id="attachment_299" align="alignnone" width="316" caption="Mobile Access at BookSummit"][/caption]

Next, you can click on the Forum button, and look at the latest Forum Discussions -

[caption id="attachment_300" align="alignnone" width="333" caption="See Kindle Forum at Book Summit"][/caption]

And you can even click on the Add button and then add photos or discussions right from your phone.

First, Click on Add to get options -

[caption id="attachment_301" align="alignnone" width="317" caption="Add from your iPhone"][/caption]

Then click on Start a Discussion to get this straigthforward page -

[caption id="attachment_302" align="alignnone" width="328" caption="Add Kindle Discussion"][/caption]

I'll add more on the details. The feature is now so please bear with any initial bugs. And do let me know how it appears on your Kindle and whether it works for you.

With home improvement fraud and scams on the rise in the United States, homeowners must take the nec

With home improvement fraud and scams on the rise in the United States, homeowners must take the necessary precautions to avoid becoming victims of “fly by night contractors.” For those who still own their properties after seeing the rise in foreclosures across this Nation, it is incumbent on you the homeowner to do the following before you go in search of a Home Improvement Contractor.

Home Improvement Contractors (HIC) in most jurisdictions in the United States is regulated by City, State or County Agencies. For example, in New York City, Nassau and Suffolk County in New York, the Department Of Consumer Affairs regulates the operations of Home Improvement Contractors and Home Improvement Salesmen (HIS). These are representatives or sales people who negotiate contracts on behalf of Home Improvement Contractors (HIC).

There are basically three (3) stages of the home improvement process, namely: The Negotiation Stage; The Contract Stage and The Work In Progress and Completion Stage. In the Negotiation Stage, a homeowner should perform a “due diligence” on prospective Home Improvement Contractors and Home Improvement Salesmen, hereinafter referred to as HIC and HIS respectively. This is where you research and check to see if the HIC is a bona fide and legitimate operator. You start by calling the Agency that regulates HIC and HIS in your area. Ask HIC and HIS for proof of licenses, workmen compensation, general liability insurance, performance bonds, and references. You should also check with the Better Business Bureau (BBB) with respect to the reputation of such businesses. Check to see any history of complaints and how they were expedited. Make sure that the HIC/HIS has a physical business address, business telephone, fax, email address, website, etc. Beware of “fly by night contractors” that operate out of their trucks, vans, SUV. It is very important also for you the homeowners to get at least 3-5 free written estimates from HIC and HIS. Some HIC/HIS may charge a reasonable fee depending on the size of the job estimate. For example, those estimates that involves blue prints specifications, plans, zoning, etc. However, you should try and negotiate a free written estimate that expressly state in black and white prices, brand names, colors, designs, start date, completion date, etc. Keep in mind that “word of mouth” is the best recommendation. Get references from HIC/HIS and invest the time to check the jobs and speak to the homeowners directly. Ask questions! For free consultation, contact us at: www.sdcg1.com

In the Contract Stage, before you sign or execute a contract, make sure that you obtain copies of HIC/HIS licenses, workmen compensation, general liability insurance, performance bond (applicable for large projects), and inquire whether the HIC participates in a Home Improvement Trust Fund. This is a trust fund that the Agency requires HIC to pay into so as to protect homeowners from HIC who takes off before a job is completed. You are required also to make sure that all brand names, styles, colors, any oral promises (some high powered HIC/HIS will promise you the moon to get your signature), along with manufacturer’s and labor warranties to be expressly written in your contract. Most importantly, make sure that the HIC/HIS expressly put in writing a start date and completion date, along with giving you your right to cancel (recession rights). Most contract laws allow you three (3) business days from the date of a contract to withdraw or cancel the contract without any penalty or obligations. So if you gave a deposit to the HIC/HIS, you are entitled to a full refund within a reasonable period of time not to exceed 10 days. Check with your jurisdiction to make sure of this right. With respect to deposits, some HIC/HIS may require a deposit upon the execution of a contract. Be very careful of HIC and HIS who ask for large deposits up front. Beware of HIC and HIS who wants cash or have checks written out to his or her name. Make checks payable to the Business name only. It is advisable to pay using a credit card. If the HIC is a legitimate operator, it is very likely that they accept credit card as a Merchant. However, the Rule is: Do not give a deposit more than what you can afford to lose. In other words, give a very, very small deposit. A bona fide, reputable and legitimate HIC will not ask for a deposit up front. Such HIC has credit accounts with Home Depot, Lowe’s, and other suppliers who will not rely on your money/deposit to buy materials. If you are not financing the work through the HIC or a third party lender, it is recommended that you pay progress payments to the HIC. Progress payments are incremental payments. In other words, you pay as the work progresses. For example, if you are getting a roof job done, you may want to give a percentage down (one third of contract price) only on delivery of materials and start of work. Then you give another one third payment when the roof is completed and the final one third when the construction debris is removed from your property. It is advisable to hold back at least 10 per cent of the total contract price for at least 90 days to ensure that the work was done properly. For those homeowners who wish to finance their projects through the HIC or a third party lender, make sure that you do not sign any blank bank papers. You should also ask the HIC/HIS whether the amount you finance will cause a lien or second mortgage to be placed on your property. Make sure that the bank does a visual inspection of the work before you sign a completion certificate allowing the bank to pay the HIC. For more information, see: www.sdcg1.com

Finally, the Work in Progress and Completion Stage; this is the most crucial stage of the work. The HIC is ready to walk away from your project, but you want to make sure that the work was done in accordance with municipal building codes and all of your manufacturer’s warranties, warranty on labor, etc., are given to you in writing. This is where you will be asked by the HIC or HIS to release final payment. If you finance the work, the HIC/HIS will ask you to sign a completion certificate which they will take to the bank to get a release of the funds at your permission. Some banks will do a visual inspection to make sure that the work was done. However, it is very crucial that you make sure that the Municipal Building Inspectors give a green light for your project. In other words, they must sign off on the job stating that all work was done professionally and in accordance with municipal building codes. Some jobs may require a certificate of occupancy (CO). Make sure that you have this CO in your hands before you release final payments to a HIC/HIS. Last but not least, if the HIC hires Sub Contractors such as an electrician or plumber to do work on your property, make sure that they are paid by the HIC. Failure to pay them may result in the Sub Contractors filing a mechanic’s lien against your property. This is legal. While the work is in progress, make sure that the workers are on time on the site. A normal work day for construction workers are from 8:00 am to 6:00 PM. Some industrious workers will work until it gets dark. Beware of workers that show up for a few minutes and take off. There are many HIC who start 20 jobs and cannot finish one. Some HIC take from “Peter to pay Paul” and stall your job in the process. This is why it is crucial that you get a start date and completion date in writing. If the HIC fail to complete the job within that time, you the homeowner may legally hold back money or charge the HIC for each day that elapsed. If your work is an exterior job that involves ladders, scaffold, etc., make sure that they are erected properly and reasonable standard of care is exercised by the workers. In other words, if a scaffold or ladder fall and injure a neighbor or passerby, they may have a civil claim or lawsuit against you the homeowner. This is why you must ensure that the HIC has proper insurance such as general liability insurance before they start work on your project. If you the homeowner permit the HIC to advertise their companies by erecting a sign on your property, you may request a discount on your contract for such favor.

I hope that this post will help you to select the right Home Improvement Contractor for your project, and most of all, you will not become a victim to the criminals out there who masquerade as Home Improvement Contractors. Be very careful as times are hard. Should you have any questions or concern, contact us at: www.sdcg1.com for a free consultation.

There is nothing else I enjoy showing off more than the Firefox extension CoolIris (formerly known as PicLens)

The basic function of this jewel of an extension is to make browsing through photos visually stimulating and entertaining. The service currently supports major sites such as Flickr, Facebook, DeviantArt, MySpace, and Google Images.

Essentially it offers you a sleek wall of the photos you are viewing, and it gives you complete control of the zoom, speed, and angle you view these at. You can slide as fast as you can and witness a plethora of stunning images fall to the side of your screen or study the finer details as you so please.

Recently CoolIris has been upgraded and now allows you to browse Amazon listings and YouTube videos, to name a few.

Is it essential to the browisng experience? Not really ... but is it innately entertaining? Most definatley. I encourage you to check it out by directing your browser to the link below.

OK’s annual ban that saves 20 million taxpayers from $2,000 increase
WASHINGTON - The House to

OK's annual ban that saves 20 million taxpayers from $2,000 increase

WASHINGTON - The House took steps Wednesday to rein in the alternative minimum tax, carrying out what has become an annual ritual to protect millions of people from getting squeezed by the unwanted tax.

The House voted 393-30 to increase the AMT exemption in 2008, saving more than 20 million taxpayers from getting hit with a tax increase averaging about $2,000.

The House separately approved, 419-4, some $8 billion worth of tax relief for disaster victims.

The votes came a day after the Senate similarly adjusted the AMT as part of a major tax package that included disaster relief, extension of business and individual tax breaks that have expired or will soon expire, and tax incentives for renewable energy investment.

The House is preparing a third bill to address the energy and tax break extension issues. Both the disaster and energy bills differ from the Senate measure, and it will be a challenge for lawmakers to come up with a compromise in the last few days of this session of Congress.

The AMT was created in 1969 to catch a very small number of rich tax dodgers, but it affects more people every year because the tax is not indexed for inflation. Without congressional action this year, those hit by the AMT could grow from around 4 million to about 26 million, the White House said in a statement Wednesday urging Congress to move quickly.

House Ways and Means Committee member Rep. Richard Neal, D-Mass., said 84 percent of those exposed to the tax have annual incomes of less than $200,000.

The White House applauded the House for not imposing new taxes to offset the cost of the one-year fix, estimated at about $64 billion over 10 years.

Last year Congress didn't clear the AMT bill until late December as a result of a dispute between House Democrats, who wanted the tax relief paid for, and Senate Republicans who insisted there be no new taxes to match the tax relief. In the end, opponents of new taxes prevailed.

Loosening The Grip Of Student Loan Debt

Mortgage Loan Search Announces New Low Rate Loan Finding Tool

ACFS Announces Freedom from Student Loans Scholarship Campaign

College Graduates Could Lose Thousands of Dollars in 2004

The issue of paying for tax relief clouds the other aspects of the tax package. The Senate bill pays for the $17 billion in renewable energy tax credits by limiting deductions available to the oil and natural gas industry. But the Senate only pays for about $25 billion of the $68 billion in business and individual tax breaks. The most expensive is the $19 billion cost in the Senate bill of renewing the research and development tax credit for two years.

The House energy relief and tax extension bill, which is expected to be debated Thursday, is fully paid for.

"While we applaud the Senate for acting yesterday and taking a step toward being fiscally responsible, their bill still falls short of the pay-as-you-go principle that House Democrats have insisted on," House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, D-Md., said in a statement.

Neither chamber would pay for the $8 billion in disaster relief. The Senate bill targets much of that relief to areas in the Midwest hit by natural disasters this summer and Texas and Louisiana counties damaged by Hurricane Ike. The House bill distributes the aid more generally.

great lakes student loans
perkins student loans
student loan deferment requirements

That angered the top Republican on the Senate Finance Committee, Sen. Charles Grassley, whose state of Iowa was devastated by storms this summer. "The House leaders' disregard for Midwestern disaster victims is shameful. When New York was attacked and New Orleans was under water, we dropped everything to give tax relief for recovery," Grassley said.

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., pleaded with the House not to tinker with the Senate-passed package, warning that imposing so-called offsets would kill the bill because of Republican opposition in the Senate. "If the House doesn't pass this, the full responsibility of this not passing is theirs, not ours."

The energy legislation extends for eight years, through 2016, investment tax credits for the solar power industry and for homeowners who install solar and wind equipment.

Taxpayers may claim a credit of up to $7,500 for purchasing plug-in electric cars, and production credits are extended to wind and biomass facilities. There are incentives to use smart meters for more efficient home energy use.

The extensions of expired tax breaks include the R&D credit that businesses have come to rely on, relief for teachers paying school expenses out of their own pockets, and help for those paying state and local general sales taxes and higher education tuition.

Ok so now my hair is all done up. And this girl walks up to me and asks where did I get my hair done

Ok so now my hair is all done up. And this girl walks up to me and asks where did I get my hair done. I explained to her that I did it myself. She goes on and asked do I do others hair. And I told her yes and then she asks do I work with weaves. So I explained to her that I was wearing an extension. She starts to tell me how real it looks and asking how much I charge. I tell her and she is like that is not much and she proceeds to tell me how she wants it done and I give her an odd look and she is like what's wrong. So I tell her that I dont it that way and I dont really do quick weaves. I explained to her that I do fusion sew ins Malaysians and so on. She asked why i dont do the Gel and then just lay the wefts on the hair. So I explain all to her my reasons.

Ok now that I got that part of the story out of the way. Let me tell you how I feel. i not lay a weft on your hair for the reasons that if you are trying to give your hair a break why would you put glue on top of your hair. do you not realize that glue is also a chemical. And not only that but when you do it that way when you take it out you are going to have some form of hair loss. The bonding glue has chemicals that can on some peoples hair break the hair down. And I know you are not into breaking your hair down. also this to me is a very nasty process. First you have to gel the hair down, then you have to glue the wefts on the hair. Say it rains. Or you want to go for a swim. this is not the best method and I dont like to do it. I did it once before on someones head and yes her hair was nice after I was done. But I was thinking the whole time that how is she going to get this out and is she going to leave this up for more than 2 days ( see I cant go 1 day with gel in my head much less 1 week.) Oh she told me that she was going to wear it like that for 1 week. This is like the worst hairdo I have ever seen. It looks good but it just can not be healthy for your hair. And on that note. Im going to say im done talking about this. I do not like it and if you ask me to do your hair I will not do it that way. So if that's what you want dont ask me to do it.

This post is inspired by Igor's post on Kindle Hacks and the Kindle Tips list at college degrees. The focus is on covering the top 25 tips and hacks that will help you get the most out of your Kindle.

Kindle Tip #1 - Kindle Hacks from Igor
Igor's Kindle hacks and the shortcuts he found are at the Reversing Everything Blog - Kindle Hacks. This post is the source of most kindle tips and i'd recommend bookmarking it. A few of the best tips are -

Sleep Mode - press Alt + the text key (aA) as though you were waking it from sleep. Putting Kindle into sleep mode also conserves battery life.

Display the time while reading a book by using Alt-T. You can also press the search button on any screen and enter @time to get the time and the date.

Kindle Tip #2 - Free Books on the Kindle via PC
The best source for Free Books is at http://www.manybooks.net/ The Kindle compatible url is http://mnybks.net. I also have a post listing free book sources that is arguably the best list for Free Kindle books.

Kindle Tip #3 - Free Books directly onto your Kindle.
You can download free books straight to kindle from a number of sources -

ManyBooks mobile site (Kindle Compatible).

FeedBooks - you have to download http://www.feedbooks.com/kindleguide and can then downloads books directly. There is a help article, or you can use the mobile version of feedbooks (which is not as easy as using the book).

Munsey's mobile site.

Kindle Tip #4 - View PDF files on your Kindle.
Rather than using the amazon experimental conversion which can be sketchy, Convert PDF files to Kindle format using MobiPocket Creator on PC (choose the publisher edition), or using Stanza on Mac. Full details at my article on converting PDF files for the Kindle.
You can also try PDF Hammer's tool for editing PDF files in your browser.

Kindle Tip #5 - View blogs for free on the Kindle.
Please do note that blogs have a subscription fee to cover Amazon's costs for the WhisperNet service. If a lot of people start circumventing the paid route, there is a chance that the methods used might get blocked and/or charges apply to WhisperNet. So if you must use free blog downloads, please use them in moderation :) -

BlogLines - Read RSS feeds using Bloglines.

FeedJournal - there is a nice article on getting blogs to your kindle for free using feed journal.

Kindle Feeder - please note that this is almost certainly illegal according to amazon's tos. So i'd recommend using one of the other options.

FeedBooks - you can create your own newspaper (multiple feeds) or feed (single feed).

MobiPocket Desktop - There are over 34k newsfeeds available through Mobipocket Desktop. The process is simple to set up; you select the feeds, and set them to be downloaded onto your device. Downloading the feeds to your Kindle is automatic. Although automatic downloads are specifically disallowed under Kindle terms. You probably have to use MobiPocket Desktop 6.0.

Kindle Tip #6 - Google Maps and GPS
This is covered under Tip #1 - however it's so good I have to list out details. You can get Google Maps and a GPS on the Kindle using Alt-1 when in browser mode. The Kindle seems to have location-awareness in the CDMA module and plots your current location on Google Maps.
Basic Options:
Alt-2 find gas station nearby
Alt-3 find restaurants nearby
Alt-5 find custom keyword nearby

Kindle Tip #7 - Official Help on the Kindle

Firstly, In case you are in trouble with the software or hardware of your Kindle, you may want to contact Amazon directly via e-mail or phone. E-Mail: kindle-cs-support@amazon.com. Phone numbers -
* 1-866-321-8851 (if you are calling from within the US)
* 1-206-266-0927 (if you are calling from outside the US)

Secondly, using Kindle NowNow you can get direct human answers.

Kindle Tip #8 - Unofficial Help on the Kindle.
Forums at Amazon - If you don't want to scroll through them all, this post on amazon kindle forum posts has a list of all forum posts in Nov 2007, Dec 2007, Jan 2008.
You can also check out the Forums at BookSummit - i'm on it most waking hours and will get back to you immediately if i have a solution.

Kindle Tip #9 - Guide Books for the Kindle
Personally reviewed and recommended - Kindle Tips and Tricks Guide by Brent Newhall. The Free PDF version of the Kindle Fan Guide on your computer and see if you think the Kindle version is worth 5$ (I think it definitely is). Then head over to the Amazon Kindle Store if you like and buy the Kindle version of the Kindle Fan Guide.
The Kindle store has two other kindle guide books - Decoding the Kindle, and Stephen Windwalker's Kindle Guide.

Kindle Tip #10 - Audiobooks and Free AudioBooks
Listen to Librivox Audiobooks on the Kindle - LibriVox has over 1000 full audio books. A nice writeup on how to Listen to audiobooks at reelsmart.

Kindle Tip #11 - Extend the Kindle's capabilities with Gmail, Yahoo, and IM.
You can really benefit from the Kindle and WhisperNet by using the mobile versions of various mail and im services -

Use Yahoo Messenger at http://us.m.yahoo.com/p/messenger/.

Use Gmail at http://m.gmail.com - Help at reelsmarts article and Gmail etc article.

Use YMail at http://m.yahoo.com.

Use google reader at http://www.google.com/reader/m.

Use google calendar mobile version at www.google.com/calendar/m.

Kindle Tip #12 - Kindle Supported Formats and Converting Documents.

What formats does kindle support? A: 4 text formats - .azw (Kindle-specific), .txt, .mobi; and .prc. You can also convert files in certain formats for use on the kindle - PDF support is experimental. Conversions are supported for Word , HTML, and 4 image formats - .jpeg, gif, .png, and .bmp.

Free Conversions to kindle format - If you send attachments to "name"@free.kindle.com, you can have files converted and emailed to you, and then transfer the document to your Kindle. Formats that amazon will convert are Word DOC, HTML, JPEG, TXT , GIF , PNG , BMP , PDF (experimental, results vary).
You can also (for $0.10 each) get Paid conversions sent straight to the kindle by emailing documents to youraddr@kindle.com (attach the documents you want converted to your mail).

Kindle Tip #13 - Kindle WhisperNet Coverage Map.
Will you have WhisperNet on your travels? Here is the Amazon Kindle Coverage Map.

Kindle Tip #14 - Find a Kindle blog you like

If you'd like more coverage of a certain type on this blog, let me know. There are a wide variety of Kindle blogs listed at the kindle wiki's blog list.

Kindle Tip #15 - Give Back to the Kindle Community and Fellow Kindle Owners

Spread the word by showing off your kindle to prospective Kindle owners at See a Kindle in Your City section of the Kindle Forums.
If you benefited from this list, please consider joining the Kindle Social Network at booksummit.com and sharing your own tips, book reviews, and advice.
Also you can add your tips and hacks at the kindle wiki.

Kindle Tip #16 - Add to the Kindle's storage capacity.
The kindle does support upto 200 books - however a simple 4GB or 8 GB SDHC lets you carry around a ton of music and books and documents. You can use a SD or SDHC card and amazon support/forums say 4GB SD card is tested. Users on the amazon forum say they have successfully used PQI 8 GB SDHC card and 8GB SD cards.

Kindle Tip #17 - Buying Books in Mobi format from non Amazon retailers.
Buying books in Kindle format from other retailers (although i'd recommend buying from amazon and helping them to contine with free WhisperNet) -

Ebookmall

Fictionwise

ebooks.com - An update courtesy Dennis - Ebooks.com is DRM protected and technically while it is possible to do it there are legal issues doing so. See http://www.teleread.org/blog/2007/12/12/kindle-swindle-tag-campaign-from-defectivebydesignorg/ for more info.

Kindle Tip #18 - Use Kindle as a journal and as a calendar (v. rough and basic functionality)
These are rough - To use an empty book as a journal (courtesy OlManRiveh at the Amazon Forums) simply create a .txt file (with the name of your project). Have it converted and placed on your Kindle. Then add notes to the text file as you wish. These notes can be edited as you wish.
There is a cheap Kindle calendar at the Kindle Store.

Kindle Tip #19 - Earn revenue from your Kindle edition reviews.

Since a lot of Kindle editions are available early, you can write/share book reviews - at your own blog or at http://www.booksummit.com/bookreviews.php.
