Your dozen rose gift doesn’t only have to decorate your favorite room. Roses are about romance

Your dozen rose gift doesn't only have to decorate your favorite room. Roses are about romance and enjoying the moment they are given and received. I've discovered some fun ways to use roses to create a stimulating day or night.

So read through this list of fun rose goodies.

Spice up your relationship and turn an ordinary day into an extraordinary day you will both remember. Select your favorite and have fun!

* Send your partner a dozen roses of their favorite color along with a check for a hundred kisses.

* Order a dozen roses, eleven red and one white. In your personal message write something like: In every bunch theres one that stands out and you are that one.

* Want your partners eyes to glow? Order a bouquet of different colored roses and place each one in a different place in your home. Where you place the dozen roses, also place a small card (decorate it nicely if you like) where it will state the meaning of each colored rose and how that meaning fits in with your lives.

* When you pick up your partner have a single rose waiting on the passenger seat for him/her. He/she will be pleasantly surprised but the real surprise is yet to come Have two dozen roses waiting at home.

* Give a bunch of long stem roses for no reason. That will sure surprise.

* Dress your bed with a white satin cover and scatter red rose petals all over. Light candles, put some soft music, have fun!

* Order 11 roses and in the bouquet put an artificial one that looks real. On your card write something like: I will love you till the last rose withers.

* Get a journal (buy the same color journal to go with the color of roses you are going to send) and fill it with romantic quotes and love poems. Tie a ribbon around the book and give to your partner along with your dozen rose gift.

* Another variation to buying a journal and filling it with quotes is to write all the memorable moments you have shared and how you felt during those times. Like the first time you met, etc. Telling the other person how you feel always makes that person feel special. Of course accompany this with a beautiful bouquet of roses, or even one long stem rose.

* Send your partner a dozen roses - Surprise number one. When theyre wilted, turn the rose petals into potpourri, put in a nice decorative box and this is surprise number two. Your partner will be delighted with your thoughtfulness.

* For this valentines day I received a dozen roses. So the last thing I was expecting was to receive another bunch a week and a half later. What my boyfriend had done (and it was a great surprise) was to lay the petals of the old roses in the shape of a huge heart in our living room which would be the first thing I would see when I came home from work. In the middle of the heart he had placed a vase with different colored roses. I loved it!

* Leave a trail of roses leading from the front door to the dinning room where you have laid the table with fine dining wear and candles ready to enjoy a romantic dinner. Leave another trail of roses leading from the dining room to the bedroom. Scatter some red rose petals on your bed.

* Write a long love letter telling your partner why you love him/her. List in it all their good qualities. Write down all the things he/she does that makes you feel special. Write down how you see your future together and anything else you can think of. A better idea would be to write all this stuff in a journal so it can keep longer. Accompany with a dozen of their favorite colored roses.

* Write a love letter to your partner and put it into an attractive glass bottle. Fill the tub and scent it with your favorite aromatic bath oil(s). Scatter in a few rose petals and put the bottle in the tub. Let your partner discover it for themselves when they get into the tub.

* Give your partner 11 roses and tape the last one to the mirror of your bathroom. Tell him/her to go to the bathroom where they will see the last rose along with your message that says these are the 12 most beautiful things in the world.

* Buy a bunch of different colored artificial roses. On each rose write what each color represents. These roses will last forever and your partner when they look at them will always be pleasantly reminded of the first time they receive them.

* Place a rose on the windshield of your partners car which they will see and be delighted by before they leave for work. This will make them think beautiful thoughts about you all day. Then when they get home, present them with the rest of the 11 roses.

* Lay a white sheet on the floor of your bedroom/living room or wherever else. Scatter rose petals on it, place candles around the sheet, put on soft music and have your partner lay there and give them a massage.

* If you have a spare key to your partners car and know where they park during the day, while they are at work, put a bunch of roses in the car seat along with a note. They will be pleasantly surprised that you were there during the day.

* Present your partner with 10 red roses and 2 white roses. Write in the card something along the lines of You will never be alone

* Two weeks before valentines day, send your partner a rose for every day leading up to the big day. For the day arrange to do something you dont usually do as a special treat to celebrate.

* Make a list of the qualities you love about your partner. Write each one individually on a small card and hang off each rose.

LESSON 17- The Delhi memoir

I had escaped my parents. But for the first time in my life, I was missing them. I don’t know

I had escaped my parents. But for the first time in my life, I was missing them. I don't know why I thought that they will understand later and I was hoping that I will get selected in the JEE. May be I was too optimistic, but the situation demanded it.

The journey was boring but thank god it was small. I was about to reach Delhi. So, I gathered my luggage and went towards the door. Train was at the old Delhi station or the Delhi junction as it is known. I was happy and suddenly a little bit nervous now.

'Calm down Parth. You have reached so far. Now there is no way that you will falter.'

Reminding myself "how great I am", I went out of the station and found a nearby hotel which would suit my money needs. Money was a big thing now for me. Getting in the room, I phoned Nida.

"Hey I am in delhi."

"wow. where are you ? I mean where are you staying?"

"at a hotel."

"HOTEL?!?!"

"yeah.."

"But I thought you are coming to your relatives.."

"No I am here for a different reason and anyways I don't have relatives in Delhi"

"ohh....so you are here as a tourist?" She laughed at this. Whats so funny?

"no no I am here for something else. I will tell you when we meet."

"ohk...lets meet. But when?"

"when are you free?"

"i am free the whole day."

"ohk lets meet now. In 30 mins.?"

"ohk gimme your address. I will come there to meet you."

I was not thinking about that answer because I wasnt living in a very good hotel. I wouldn't have liked her to see me here. What should I do?

"Meet me at the station? Old Delhi?"

"ohk sure. See you in 30. Bubye"

"bubye"

And a smile took control of my face. Last 30 min. before I meet the person whom I had loved, for whom I had studied hard and for whom I had come to a place where I don't know anyone else. I went into a flashback of my life in the past one year. Every chat and every phone call clear in my mind still. How would have I forgotten? It was a very beautiful moment remembering it all. But life is not always beautiful. The phone rang.

The surprise man was calling.

"halo"

"what the hell are you doing?" He was certainly angry.

"ohh sorry mama. Just now got the room in the hotel. Was about to call you." Lies sometime help us to get rid of all the drama.

"ohh ok. You are all right na?"

"yup."

"so when are you meeting her?"

"30 mins. now 25."

"ohh. best of luck.i wont waste your time now. bubye."

"hey i gotto tell you one thing."

"what?"

"MOM dad know I have ran away."

"yeah till now they should have known this."

"no actually they saw me boarding the train."

"oh oh ....listen you don't worry about it. do your thing and go back soon. I will take care of them."

"oh mamu. thnx "

"yeah yeah. Now don't waste any time. Go go go." And he hung up.

God makes some crazy people. One of them was offcourse the surprise man. But I love him. I was here because of him. THANKS MAMA.

I tried my best to look better and after knowing that I can't do any better I hurried off to the railway station. I was in time at the station. I wished she didn't make me wait. I hated waiting. But she didn't come late.

The nerves were creeping up. I was about to collapse. What was I nervous for?? I somehow managed to keep standing. And she came smiling.

"hey.how are you?" She had managed to identify me.

"as in front of you" Wow!

"so where should we start?" O.o

"..umm?"

"arey baba. where should we start from. tell na. you want to see Delhi or not?"

"oh yeah yeah."

"what yeah?"

"u say . i don't know about Delhi."

"ohk lets see the nearby places."

Standing at the shyama prasad mukherjee road we were thinking about the places when she ordered.

"Lets go to the fatehpuri masjid."

"yup sure."

"ohk"

We took an auto rickshaw which took us to the fatehpuri masjid.

[caption id="attachment_57" align="alignnone" width="250" caption="the fatehpuri masjid"][/caption]

I was not a strong beleiver of even the Hindu god, but I didn't mind praying at the masjid with a beautiful girl whom I loved. May be thats why they say that 'love has no religion' :P

I was feeling pretty confident now that I had visited the mosque. Yeah, God seemed to be with me.!

And then we went to the very famous chandni chowk.

[caption id="" align="alignleft" width="236" caption="chandni chowk"][/caption]

Woo.....it was crowded.! And why not? It was in the old city and it was famous. We stopped at one panipuri stall.

"This is on me." I told her.

"ohk. I don't mind.."turning to the panipuri wala she said"...bhaiya badiya khilana (make it good)"

Now I know why Delhi is famous for the food. Even the simple panipuri tastes good. And to top it all I was with a girl.!

Then we took a ride in the auto rickshaw to a nearby restaurant. We talked and talked. About each other, about our habits, our places and about the various conditions we faced. We were knowing each other more and more. But it was time for her to leave.

"I gotto go." I had booked the train for tommorrow evening. I had to tell her.

"yeah. ummm Nida. I want to tell you something."

"what?"

"I am leaving tommorrow evening."

"ohk I will come to see you off. Don't you worry."

"No. no! I want to tell you smething else."

"what. parth say yaar . quickly.! I want to leave. A.S.A.P.!"

And my bloody phone rang. Surprise man. I had to pick up.

"Don't worry I will come to se you off. tell me that time. ok? bubye."

"ohk. bubye." I said picking up the phone. And she went away.

.........

"you cant get any other time to call?"

"what happened?"

"I was about to tell her."

"so?"

"so???.." I almost screamed. "...so you ruined it all she is gone."

"ohh. i am sorry."

"yeah you should be."

"anyways I will tell her when she comes to see off me at the station."

"ohk.thats good"

"yeah yeah."

"ok ok .i am keeping down now. and do buy a gift for her." He hung up again.!

Hello everyone. A little over 2 weeks ago I was introduced to a new cash gifting program that solves many of the problems found in other cash gifting programs.

This program is only $25 to join and there are no monthly fees of any kind. When you join this cash gifting program, you are given a website absolutely free of charge! This website includes a sophisticated back office system where you can keep track of everyone that has joined under you.

Furthermore, this cash gifting program gives you banners which you can post on your various social network pages so that others can join under you. They also give you pre-written letters which you can send to people you know or submit to various websites as blog posts or press releases. The list goes on and on.

This program pays down 5 levels which means you can earn thousands and thousands of dollars in the coming weeks and months!

The very best part is that if you join through the Automatic Cash Leveraging System, you will be entered into a rotation system where you’ll get FREE referrals sent to your website!

This is by far the easiest “make money at home” opportunity I have ever seen. I highly encourage you to check it out.

Tomme and I have been friends for just a little over a year now and he has always encouraged me with my crafts...I can always count on him to give me an ooooo or aaahhh whenever I finish making something...not to mention he is always there to help Piet (my sweet hubby!) move big awkward items. So the other night I got the chance to do something really cool for him.

I wrapped up a nice little birthday gift (...PRADA Parfum...ooo la la!) that he bought for a friend...but of course--only the best for my friend...I used custom printed wrapping paper with a handcrafted card to match!--designed by yours truly!!! I hope she liked it!

Check it out...and let me know what you think!

There are tons of football fans out their that couldn't wait until football season started this season. I'm one of them!

My son is playing tackle football for the first time this season. He excited, pumped up, and ready to go. So far, his coach has him playing tight end and defensive end. Today was there first football game. He couldn't sleep last night, because he was overwhelmed in excitedment.

As a token of love, respect, and enthusiasm, I purchased him a Sports gift basket from TheBasketSpot.com. He loved it and was soooooooo surprised.

I'm happy for him and can't wait until he makes a touch down.

The outer edge of tropical storm Hanna brough rain, rain rain to our area today, raining out ball practice and outdoor Saturday-type activities. So this after noon, I got out the wool and had a felting party with the children. We made beads, felted soaps, and a few wet-felted pictures. Good clean fun. Literally!

Here you see my middle son showing off a bead that he made. The next picture shows my older daughter preparing to felt a bar of soap, while the younger sprays water on the flower she is about to felt. Two other pictures show soap and other items that we made today:

All three techiques are easy to do and fun for children. To make beads, simply take a small bit of wool roving (not superwash, regular feltable wool) and roll it into a ball. Soak it in soapy water for a minute, then roll it between the palms of your hands vigorously, but without squishing it, until it hardens into felt. If you squish it, you get flat disks instead of balls... which can be fun too. Make a bunch and they can be strung for jewelry, used as buttons, or sewn onto things/added to art yarn, etc. Use more than one color in a ball for a marbled effect.

To do a felted soap, wrap a bar of soap loosely with the roving, making sure to cover the corners well. Wrap feltable wool yarn around it hold in place, then put the assemblage into a quart-sized ziploc bag with a few tablespoons of water (it doesn't take much). Remove excess air and close the bag, then rub, rub, rub, rub until the wool felts tightly around the soap. Doing it all in a ziploc bag keeps the mess to a minimum, and makes this a felting project that even preschoolers can handle, if their patience holds out long enough for the wool to felt (I had to finish the one my three-year old started, but at least he got to participate). These soaps make nice grandparent/teacher gifts - or you can felt around styrofoam balls to make Christmas ornaments using the same technique. Here's how a soap looks as it's being felted:

For the felt pictures, I took out my baker's cooling rack (you could also use a washboard, bamboo matt or bubble wrap - something with texture) and covered it with plastic wrap. I put a base of wool to form the background, then let the child add colored wool to make the design, and spray it all well with soapy water. More plastic wrap goes on the top, then the child rub, rub, rubs the whole thing, turning it over occassionally, until the wool felts. Additional details can be added later, once it's dry, by glueing on details or needlefelting/sewing for those who are old enough. Pieces of felt like these can be sewn into pillows, tote bags, pot holders, etc. Another potential idea for gifts that your child could make.

Have fun with your children, and encourge their creativity - pull out the wool and play!

After the Stardoll users were slightly forgeting about the Monthly Gift Club thing, the staff decided to handle us some another gifts! They are not bad [again, ironically, they are all white], but this means that the club will become bigger than the actual biggest club around here, Animal-Lovers. If you didn't know before, there are rumors that say that the club owner, **Franciskita**, is actually a really bored Stardoll staff member named Frank (and I forgot his last name). Everyone says this because this user has less than 200 starpoints, and as you already know, you can't make a club with this amount of starpoints. Anyway, I'll show you the latest gifts. A pair of shoes, a bag, a pair of pants and a jump suit. I personally adore the bag. It's nice and simple and goes with everything. The pants are nice too. :)

Do you like the new gifts?

so i took Lumix (my camera) into The Shop four-and-a-half weeks ago, and ever since, i've been coping with separation anxiety.

i adore this camera. i'm not the kind of person who sends her marred graduation gifts into The Shop every day, but i was hoping to revive it, give it new life!

being the second and most-capable camera i've ever owned, Lumix has a special place in my heart. he's been with me since senior prom, capturing colorful gowns and beautiful smiles with a handy little flash that doesn't "wash out" fair skin (amen!). he was with me in k'auai, venturing through secret beach trails and freezing perfectly-exposed frames of the north shore on morning katamaran rides. he's been with me ever since i started at cal poly, blessing me with the most crisp & up-close photos of my projects.

so a month without Lumix around has been kind of depressing. during Dale's wedding, i defaulted to Karly's canon whatever shot thing, and as I sat near that beautifully-lit alter i sighed, "what a shame."

C'est la vie,

The Facts Of WordPress Upgrades

What’s up, everybody? Instead of Club Penguin cheats, hints, tips or news I’ll give you

What's up, everybody? Instead of Club Penguin cheats, hints, tips or news I'll give you all some information about WordPress and its upgrades.

You might have seen a blog with the same theme as I have but with different colors. That's done with CSS. And that's done with an upgrade of WordPress.

Or a blog with a domain (jellyboard.com (no WordPress in the title)). Also thanks to WP's upgrades.

Custom CSS
This upgrade allows you to add custom CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) to customize any theme on a WordPress blog. This is recommended mostly for advanced users who understand CSS. I'm not that good at CSS but I can do a little.
A Custom CSS upgrade for WordPress blogs costs 15 Credits.

Custom Domain
The Domain is the blog's URL (www.jellyboard.wordpress.com). On a standard blog the domain is "----.wordpress.com", with a custom domain you can remove the "wordpress" in its domain. You can have any title you want (if it's available). you can also change the ".com" to ".net" or ".org" etc.
A custom domain costs 15 credits.

Unlimited Private Users
With this upgrade you can add as many users to your private blog as you like. This upgrade removes the 35 user limit on private blogs.
You can upgrade to this feature for 30 credits.

Space Upgrades
With this you can add more space to your upload directory. This means that you can add more images and documents to posts and pages. You can also upload more file types.
A 5GB, 15GB and 25GB space upgrade is available.
The 5GB is 20 credits, 15GB is 50 credits, 25 GB is 90 credits.

Gift Credits
You can buy credits for yourself but also gift them to someone else.
How to gift credits:

WordPress Dashboard -> Upgrades -> Gifts.

Then type in the username or e-mail of the person you want to give credits to (example: jellyboard). The amount of credits and a special message.

Currently I don't have any credits, and I would appreciate it very much if you make a donation.

He brings East Coast practicality, while her West Coast spontaneity is obvious (Their rap preferences follow the same order). Luckily they work together, where they both shine. The intrigue behind Daisy Princess Paperie’s collection springs from two minds abundant with unique character and the utter happiness their work gives them. When asked, “Who would you be if you could be anyone else, past or present? Without hesitation, he’d be Johnny Cash, while she’s freaked out simply thinking about the idea of being someone else.

I awake excited by the possibility of Authentic Woman...I'm knowing that women in midlife rock! I'm knowing that the time has come and many women are out here doing it in the name of women in transition. When I first began this journey into midlife, it came with many doubts, fears and a sense of restlessness. I was tired of being overloooked/taken for granted. tired of working for someone else without guarantee that I wouldn't be terminated, or, worse case scenerio...my job folding after 20 something years!

Starting over at midlife became a challenge not without its moments of 'woe is me' but, the first thing I learned is this: sitting home watching perfect people with their perfectly dramatic problems on scripted out Soaps wasn't going to help me get my life back on track. My first life lesson: There's no prince charming...no magic wand...God didn't mean for you to take him literally when he said "wait on him"

Ladies, we have a gift...a god given gift, it's called, the gift of intellect! Women in transition, the authentic woman...we've just begun!
